Vacancy Overview

Clarke Roberts is currently recruiting for a Payroll Clerk to start on a permanent basis at a successful firm of Accountants based in Stockport. Key Responsibilities:

Full control of weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish, input salary details/hours worked.
SMP payments, SSP payments, and any deductions re overtaken Hols etc.
Bacs payments for clients.
Contact direct with clients and HMRC.
Produce reports for files and for clients (summary, Bacs & Payslips).
P32 reports (letters).
Maintain PAYE records in client files and on Sage payroll.
Recording details for companies with NIC holidays (new Companies).
Recording and amending client addresses.
Liaising with partners when necessary.
Knowledge of current legislation on SMP, SPP, SAP, SSP.

My client requires someone with recent and relevant payroll experience. If you have worked within a payroll bureau or accountant practice previously, this will help your application.

The successful candidate will be professional and hard working with the ability to work to deadlines.
